There’s something special about Lake Como at sunrise. The calm atmosphere, the soft light, and the peaceful start to the day. Laura and David traveled from the United States for their engagement session and were looking for a location that offered romance, elegance, and a true Italian feel. Lake Como turned out to be exactly the right choice.
Starting at the Grand Hotel Tremezzo
We began the session at the well-known Grand Hotel Tremezzo, one of Lake Como’s most famous luxury hotels. In the early morning, the hotel was quiet, which gave us plenty of space to explore its gardens, terraces, and lakeside areas. The classic look of the hotel and the soft morning light created clean, natural settings for their photos.
Laura and David moved easily through each spot, taking in the relaxed atmosphere and enjoying the start of the day by the lake.
A Relaxed Boat Ride on Lake Como
After photographing around the hotel, we continued the session on a traditional wooden boat. Being on the water added variety to the shoot and allowed us to capture Lake Como’s well-known views from a different angle. During the relaxed boat ride, we passed two of the lake’s most iconic villas: Villa Balbianello and Villa Balbiano. The calm water, the mountains, and the view of these famous locations created a simple but impressive backdrop. It was a nice way to finish the session and gave us a mix of both scenic and intimate moments.
Why Choose Lake Como for an Engagement Session
Lake Como is a great option for couples planning a destination engagement session. The area offers a combination of beautiful landscapes, elegant hotels, and easy access to scenic spots. Whether you’re celebrating your engagement or simply want memorable photos during a trip to Italy, Lake Como provides a reliable and visually appealing setting.
